Each spring, Peer Education celebrates the dedication
of hundreds of students to mentoring, tutoring, and supporting
their peers in a Recognition Ceremony. Our students and programs
promote academic engagement, build community, and demonstrate
leadership (Makowsky, 04/11/06). Awards are given to a Peer
Education Program of the Year and Peer Educators of the Year
to recognize outstanding efforts throughout the University of
Connecticut. |
