Program Mission |
Serve as a Husky WOW Leader who works with new students and helps welcome them to UConn at the start of the fall semester. WOW Leaders partner with Community Assistants in the residence halls to lead groups of new students through three days of WOW programs and activities. |
Expected Commitment |
5 Days in August (as new students arrive to campus) |
Required Skills |
Positive role model and good interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm and commitment to the WOW program. |

Training |
WOW leaders participate in a two-day training which includes group leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and residence hall preperation for new students. |

Assist with the development of residence hall theme, in-hall programs, and hall decoration. Lead group(s) of first-year students and participate in all WOW activities. |
