PESAC

Peer Education Student Advisory Committee

The mission of PESAC is to:

• Promote effective communication between Peer Educators and Program Directors
• Create and implement new programs and initiatives
• Increase awareness of Peer Education at both the University of Connecticut and nationally

PESAC members meet throughout the year to discuss Peer Education issues, achievements, etc. Members plan the Peer Education Recognition Banquet which takes place each spring and assist in the planning & implementation of PeerFest.

PESAC is organized by the Peer Education Coordinator and Director of First Year Programs. All Peer Educators are eligible to participate. Members of the committee are chosen each year in September. Interested Peer Educators and Directors looking to nominate a student can e-mail peered@uconn.edu.
